About PJ

PJ is an abstract expressionist painter who views art as a spiritual practice — a flow of Shakti, the creative energy that moves through all things. Her journey into art began after leaving the corporate world, seeking a deeper connection to her soul and a means of healing.
Each painting is part of a spiritual process that begins long before the brush ever meets the canvas. Before she paints, PJ blesses the canvas, setting intentions and offering prayers over the work to come. From that place of ritual and stillness, the work flows freely, allowing spontaneous brushstrokes to channel raw emotion and energy onto the canvas. Her paintings explore themes of love, interconnectedness, and the wonder of how we are all part of this amazing thing called life, together.
One year into calling Austin home, PJ's practice has deepened into something new: a body of work that bridges where she began and where she's headed, inviting collectors and kindred spirits into a more intentional relationship with the art and the process behind it.
PJ's work is rooted in reverence — for beauty, for transformation, and for the unseen.
Each piece becomes a sacred object once it finds its home, carrying blessings and positivity into the space it enters. When possible, PJ sits with collectors to install the work with the same intention and ceremony it was created with, so the piece continues its journey the way it began.
